TREES FOR SALE
We are conveniently located 5 miles from Franktown on Russellville Rd. Tours of the nursery are welcome but an appointment must be made beforehand.
Locally grown trees will much better acclimate to our altitude and soil conditions versus the out of state stock that has been shipped in or grown for years in a container (limits root growth).
A tree spade will be used to dig the trees (B&B). The root ball will be approximately 30" wide at the top, 18" tall and 12" wide at the bottom. Estimated total weight, including the tree, will be approximately 350 pounds. This needs to be taken into consideration if you are planting the trees yourself.
Depending on the number of trees needed, we can plant your trees or refer you to a local landscaper who can help.
No trees will be dug until they are selected, flagged and paid for. Not digging in advance, guarantees the absolute freshest stock. You are welcome to be present when the trees are dug if desired.
All B&B orders will include the following : tying branches, spading the tree out, placing into a heavy duty wire basket with heavy burlap, securing (B&B), loading of your order, information on planting and care (another reason no trees are dug prior to purchase so you can see them in their current environment).
Watering for the first two years is very important to allow the tree to become established. We can help you develop and install a drip watering system if needed.
